We pride ourselves on running shows that are of the highest quality handmade arts and crafts. We do not accept commercial, buy-and-sell or imported items.

Important Updates for 2024

We are very sorry to have to say goodbye to the Swedish Days Art and Craft show.  The Geneva Chamber of Commerce has tried to find a location that is agreeable to Art of the Heartland and the City of Geneva. Unfortunately, there is not a location to the south of Rt. 38 or one on the north side of Rt. 38 that gives us any exposure to Rt. 38 where we could have the craft show.

PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE CHANGED DEADLINE TO REQUEST THE SAME BOOTH TO MARCH 1st  !!!!!!!!!!

If you are a returning crafter and want the same booth as last year; please apply by March 1st !!!!!!

You may apply and be accepted before March 1st, but we cannot assign booth spaces until after March 1st when we know exactly what spaces are available.

We do also mail application packets to those that request it.  Please email us if you would prefer to receive your applications by mail.  If you mail in your application – please do not mail your photos.  We still need your photos to be emailed to robin@artoftheheartland.com to ensure the best resolution for your photos.

Applications for all of our shows are available on this website –
Click on the show name below to go to the application.  Please read the information page and fill out the application page.  You may pay your booth fee by mailing a check or money order or click on the link to pay online.  Please follow the instructions on the application.

PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR APPLICATION!!

If you are not accepted into the show; we will tear up your check or send you an online credit.

Photos of Your Work

We require at least six photos (four of your finished work as well as two “work in progress” or photos of your messy workspace with your supplies in the background.) The purpose of these photos is to prove to us that you are indeed making your items and not ordering them wholesale. Please have at least one of your photos appropriate for social media if desired. All photos should be high-resolution jpg or png files and should be uploaded with your online application.

Once you have been assigned a booth; You will be mailed (snail mail) your Confirmation letter with booth assignment, entry card if applicable and flyers to pass out at other shows.

These documents are VERY important and must be saved for show time. You may receive your booth assignment in April – but you need to SAVE your confirmation papers until show time because we do not send this information to you again.  It is up to you to SAVE these papers.

We accept applications until our shows are full.

September 7-8, 2024

This show is outside so you are required to bring your own 10×10 tent. The booths will be located on South 3rd St. and Campbell St. by the Court House, where they have been located for many years. Set up is Saturday morning from 6:00am-9:30am. Security will be provided for Saturday night. We expanded the show last year and that was very well received. This festival is very well known in Geneva, IL. WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!!!!!!

  • 10 x 10 booth space (bring your own tent): $195

September 14-15, 2024

This show is outside so you are required to bring your own 10×10 tent. The spaces are located along Lincoln Avenue on pavement. The back of your booth is at the curb, and your booth faces the Fox River. Set up is on Friday from 1:00pm-6:00pm or Saturday morning 7:30am-9:30am. Security is provided for Friday and Saturday nights.

October 11-13, 2024

Please note:
This is a 3 day show; you are required to participate all 3 days. This show is very well attended.
All booths are located in Pottawatomie Park, which is on the east bank of the Fox River. Set up is on Thursday afternoon 1:30pm-6:00pm or Friday morning 7:30am-9:30am. Security is provided for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

We rent two large tents for “tent” booths, and there are “outside” booths in the surrounding areas.

  • 10 x 10 “outside” space (bring your own tent): $304
  • 8′ deep x 11′ wide “tent” space: $344

November 23-24, 2024

This show is held at the Kane County Fairgrounds and it is ALL INSIDE. You are able to set up on Friday afternoon/evening 3:00pm-8:00pm or Saturday morning 7:30am-9:30am. Security is provided for Friday and Saturday nights. Electricity is available and is FREE. We encourage you to decorate your booth with lights and holiday touches.
