  • If you are a returning crafter and want the same booth as last year: please apply by March 1st!!!!!!!
    PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE CHANGED DEADLINE FOR SAME BOOTH TO MARCH 1st.
    You may apply and be accepted before March 1st but we cannot assign booth spaces until after March 1st when we know exactly what spaces are available.
  • The jury committee continues to accept applications until the show is full.
  • Our booths are located exclusively in Pottawatomie Park (all on grass) with a lovely view of the Fox River.
  • We have two large tents: A and B running perpendicular to the river. The “tent” spaces are 8′ deep and 11′ long.
  • The “outside” spaces (where you bring your own tent) border the large tents or are in rows between the tents and the surrounding area. The “outside” spaces are 10 X 10.
  • Set-up is Thursday afternoon from 1:30 until 6:00 P.M (preferred) or Friday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 A.M.
  • Space is available in our storage tent (5’ X 10’) if you need to store overstock (see application page).
  • We limit jewelry booths to 15% of a show so please send in early.
  • Security will be provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
  • There is a single lane driveway into the park; our staff and the Park District personnel will direct you in and out.
    (Please have your Entry Card in your windshield – this indicates your location)
    If the ground is DRY, the Park District will allow us to drive our vehicles into the park. NO ONE can pull up to their spot to unload.  We are permitted to pull in one vehicle length off the pathways.
  • We are required to bus crafters to the East Side Sports Complex to free up closer parking for your customers. We provide small buses to bring you back and forth throughout the day.
  • Those with handicap permits, please take our buses or have someone drive you in and out in the am and pm.
    • No refunds due to weather or other occurrences beyond our control.
    • Electricity is NOT available.
    • No pets allowed except for trained animals assisting the disabled.
    • We will provide forms for Illinois sales tax collection.
    • You are required to remain with your booth set up for the duration of the show. If you take down early, you will be removed from the mailing list. (exceptions due to weather or any prearrangements made)
    • No imported or commercially made items.
    • All items must be handcrafted, high quality arts and crafts made by the exhibiting artist or partner. Art of the Heartland reserves the right at its sole discretion to remove any questionable items or if it determines in its sole opinion that your items are questionable; you will be asked to leave the show with no refund of your booth fee.
    • All participants affirmatively represent that no copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property has been infringed upon in any way including but not limited to the design, manufacture, display or sale of any products at our shows. Every participant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Art of the Heartland from any claim of intellectual property infringements which may arise in conjunction with the design, manufacture, display or sale of any products at this show.
    • The role of Art of the Heartland is one of providing selling space. All participants acknowledge and agree that Art of the Heartland is not an insurer and it shall not be responsible for any contract claim, loss or damage to property, or personal injuries to the participant, or the participant’s family, employees, agents, or invitees. Every participant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Art of the Heartland for any such claim which may arise in conjunction with the participation, display and/or sale of any products at this show.

Please email 6 photos (4 of your finished work AND 2 “work in progress” or “workshop” photos). If you would like to submit more than 6 photos, please email them to robin@artoftheheartland.com. The purpose of these photos is to prove to us that you are indeed making your items and not ordering them wholesale. Please have at least one of your photos appropriate for social media if desired. All photos should be high-resolution jpg or png files.

If you are a returning crafter and have already emailed photos; you do not need to send photos again unless you add a new media.

When accepted you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail (snail mail) with your booth assignment and flyers to put in your sale bags at shows or display on your table for people to “take one”.
